CVS

Has everything you need, true, but I have never had a good experience with the pharmacy and the self-checkout machines are broken more often than not. The staff members are not the brightest or friendliest of people, either, especially during the late night or early morning hours.

Can't say anything bad about CVS. Always has exactly what you're looking for. Unfortunate it's not on campus, but still very convenient.

So convenient, and I love the new self-checkout and refrigerated section. They even have a "grab and go" section, which has good food but not at cheap prices. Overall, a great place for necessities.

Ridiculously slow service... the store is undermanned comparatively to the amount of people who are there.

The new store is better in my opinion. they have a refrigerated section just inside the door that has a fairly large variety of quick meals like salads and sandwiches. I haven't tried them but they look pretty good and only cost 5-6$ which is comparable to 5guys down the street but much healthier.
The new self-checkout section is nice but there are a few kinks in the system. They keep insisting that you put your purchases in the bagging area after it's been scanned even if you have a ton of stuff or you have a bag of your own.
My single complaint about the new store is that they reduced the amount of shelf area for 2L bottles of soda. It seems whenever there are sales on soda or I quickly need soda for mixers they always seem to run out.
But they have everything else. It's incredible how much they can fit into that store.

They just redid the interior of the store and they now have self check-out

Cigarettes? Yes. Chew? Yes. Dip? NO!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This aside, you can go to CVS for anything you could possibly want. Discount candy after every major holiday is a plus.

Definitely get a membership at this place because you'll save A LOT of money. Walk isn't that bad and has everything you need for your room.

awesome. really convenient straight walk out the front gates--i'm a fan.

They also accept GoCards and are open 24 hours. Just the thing you need when you have to go buy the essentials, like TP in a bathroom crisis or aspirin after a rough night.

Ridiculously convenient to the Georgetown campus. The selection is limited, and really random, but CVS supplements Vital Vittles well for the basics. There's no more affordable shopping fix in Georgetown.
