Closest theater to Georgetown University. Nice location near the waterfront with plenty of restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable.
I would recommend this place simply because it's the only theater around. It's a good theater and shows almost all of the popular films but since it's the only one around it can and does charge whatever it likes.
The seating setup allows every viewer full screen access, as it has more of an amphitheater arrangement with a steeper incline, and the films here are the usual popular fare. There's only so much one can say about a movie theater- this one is just fine.
It's pretty annoying that they only have student tickets on Thursdays, because it's a pretty expensive theater, but they have a good selection of movies and usually you can just walk in and get a ticket to something. They only sell out when something is really popular.
I've always been a National Amusements guy, but the service is pretty good, all things considered.
On the plus side, it's still cheaper than Georgetown cupcake.
